Goldilocks
Oh, let me cut away this golden hair!
Let me be the woman that I could,
And live the wild existence of the bear.
What thrills and dangers might await me there?
I grow so tired of constantly being good!
Oh, let me cut away this golden hair.
A little girl - sweet, virginal and fair -
But now I give up doing what I should,
And live the wild existence of the bear.
They caution me far more than I can bear!
You drive me mad, my dear Red Riding Hood.
Oh, let me cut away this golden hair.
Think how my doting parents would despair
To see their little girl flee to the wood,
And live the wild existence of the bear!
For years I only dreamed… but now I dare!
I dare to go and seek out something good.
Oh, let me cut away this golden hair,
And live the wild existence of the bear.
